Aparshakti, known for effortlessly moving between films, television and other entertainment projects, looked right at home amid the sophisticated setting of the exhibition. Ritvik Sahore also caught attention as he joined the star-studded gathering. The two actors were seen taking in the displays and posing for the cameras, giving the Mumbai event plenty of celebrity appeal while watch enthusiasts explored the intricate creations on display.
Adding a major sporting name to the guest list was Indian T20I cricket captain Suryakumar Yadav. The cricketer arrived in a sleek all-black suit and completed his evening look with a striking Richard Mille RM 30-01 Declutchable Rotor in rose gold. Suryakumar interacted with the media before exploring the exhibition, bringing his own brand of sporting-star glamour to the luxury watchmaking showcase.
Often referred to as the “Oscars of Watchmaking,” the GPHG Exhibition has become a major platform for celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and innovation in the world of horology. Brought to India by luxury watch retailer Ethos Limited, the travelling exhibition is being hosted at The St. Regis Mumbai from September 28 to October 1, 2026. The Mumbai showcase gives collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to see the nominated watches before the industry’s final awards ceremony takes place in Geneva.
The exhibition features 84 nominated timepieces across 14 distinct categories, offering visitors an up-close look at creations from some of the world’s most respected watchmakers and luxury maisons. Names such as Chopard, Audemars Piguet, Bvlgari and Piaget are represented among the showcased watches, with each timepiece reflecting a different approach to design, engineering and craftsmanship. The exhibition therefore offers much more than a celebrity-filled evening, giving watch lovers a chance to experience some of the year’s most talked-about creations.
With Aparshakti Khurana and Ritvik Sahore leading the celebrity buzz and Suryakumar Yadav adding a sporting touch, the GPHG Exhibition 2026 made a stylish impression in Mumbai. The showcase continues at The St. Regis until October 1, giving visitors an opportunity to discover the nominated timepieces before the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève winners are announced in Geneva on November 7. For Mumbai’s luxury and entertainment crowd, it has become a meeting point where celebrity style and the art of watchmaking come together.
